De eerste openbare AED in Wommels is een feit! Deze is te vinden bij het pand van Talant aan de Sybren de Vlasstrjitte 2/a. Op dit gebouw staat met grote letters “Boppeslach”. Aan de voorkant is rechts naast de ingang aan de buitenmuur een wandkast gemonteerd met daarin de AED. Deze kast kan geopend worden met een ferme klap op de rode knop. De AED is hierdoor 24 uur per dag toegankelijk.
